Default Stock valve train can handle???

How far of a cam profile can stock valve train parts handle? Besides loss of flow what would happen when the valves float in Ls1s??

Stock springs will only handle a stock cam, and barely at that. Upgrade the springs and then the pushrods are the limiting factor. Upgrade springs and pushrods, and now you need to question the lifters.

With good springs (like a gold dual spring kit) and some hardened pushrods, I would personally feel safe running up to a mid-high 230's cam with just over .600 lift. Some people run t-rex and g5x4 cams on stock lifters, but I dont know how good an idea that is. Might also want to upgrade to atleast an LS2 chain.
