Default Internals for my LS1

What internals is everyone running in there cars? And what am I looking to spend on a good kit? Is it better to stay stock displacement and go forged or is it better to get a stroker kit. I plan on staying N/A. I want a mild cam to stay pretty streetable. I just want to get an idea for figuring out what the parts are going to run me and what everyone has found to be a good value and performance.

If it was me and i wanted to stayn/a i would definitly build something with some cubic inches. I and putting an eagle kit in my motor-4340 steel crank, 4340 esp h-beam rods, je pistons with file fit rings. Their kit are pretty high around 2000-2500 but the are good insurance. they have kits from 347 ci to 393ci for alum. blocks and 398-418 for iron block. It all depends how hard you drive.

Well I just don't have alot of money to dump into the motor, like more then 5 or 6 grand. I just want to make 450-500hp reliable and all the time. I have 80k on my motor now so I think a cam and heads would be low on reliablity with a bottom end with 80k.

Well you can go with stock crank it will hold up to a decent amount of power.
And the rods are alright but i would recommend rods and pistons And a good valvetrain and you should be fine just get some compression i think like 11 to 1 or 11.5 to 1
