I have this bad boy cam and have sprayed a 150 shot on it, and it feels awsome, pulls great on bottom end and top end. Im about to put the jets in for the 250 after i get the new exhaust on but damn you will be happy.

Are you guys running the old version of the 233/239 or the new 233/239 Revision II Camshaft? I've got the newer version on a 113ls with a 150 shot and a set of AFR 205's should be ordered next week. Just bought a Fast 90 intake so I'm hoping for 430+rwhp thru a 3500 stall and 10bolt.. I bet this thing is gonna run like a raped ape on the juice..

I have a buddy that is running this cam and he made 546hp on a 150. It pulls really hard.
1QuickT-A, I just did the fast 90/90 with the 233/239 r.2 and PRC 2.5's and it made a huge difference. I won't get back to the dyno until later this week so I can't give any real numbers but my previous best was a 12.31 1/4. At the drags on friday I was able to beat a car that runs 12.1's by a fair margin about 4 times. So I am thinking the Fast gave me about 25-30 rwhp at least. Previous dyno was 398rwhp.

Thats why I'm sending my PRC heads back..

Ok I didnt know you were running the factory Ls1 intake.. The stock MAF should not be a concern tho. With stage 2.5 5.3 heads, a cam that size, fast 90/90, and good driving skills you should be in the mid 11's with traction.. And 430+rwhp..

Hell i picked up 17 rwhp by simply replacing the maf with 3.5" tubing and some minor tuning.

I think mid elevens is definatly possible especially after I get the wideband 02 back in so I can readjust the air/fuel. The only thing that might stop it are the 3.42's.

[QUOTE=formula305]Not everyone wants to run a speed density tune. And I would guess that not all the 17hp came from removing the restriction of the MAF, Im sure the tune was tweaked for performance. [QUOTE]
Exactly...
Yes, it should do mid 11's if everything is setup right.. Not sure if it will do it with the 3.42's or not tho. Cause if you run on slicks the 3.42's will be a problem..
