ET Performance heads
Has anyone has any experience with ET Performance?
I have been sold on their new casting design for my 408 from talking with them, but want to know if there are any skeletons in their closet that I need to worry about. I just want to be sure that I am doing the right thing by waiting on these heads.

Et Performance
They now have a new head and will be able to rock the race world
I have been running their heads for a year and I will be upgrading to the new head .
They will be starting with a intake port volume at 215 and going up from there.
Talk to Craig about the heads and a new manifold to work with 11 degree and 12 degree heads (ls7)
I believe the head has enough height in the outside rail to accomodate an adjustable rocker without the taller valve covers.
I am local to these guys and can get pics and info
My e-mail is radio5@comcast.net

Thanks guys.. That is kind of what I was wanting to hear. I am really tired of waiting though. The valves were suppposed to be here "next week" three weeks ago.LOL
I know its not their fault, but this is killing me.

I tlaed to them over a month ago, and was impressed with their new 11 degree heads. I wanted to order them BADLY, but they never got back with me...I tried several times to contact them via email and on phone...no responses after a while. I just bought some AFR 225 heads. I think for all out racing, the ET heads will be the best.

Etp Heads
I Apologize For Anybody Waiting For Our New Heads. We Have Taken A Little While Longer To Prove Things Out And Make Sure That We Don't Become A One Hit Wonder. Maybe Lost A Few Sales, But That Is Still Better Than Finding A Problem After We Have 100 Sets In The Field. We Are Now In Production And Ready To Rock. We'll Have Valves This Week Finally. They Are Not As Common As A Stock Dimention Ls1 Valve, We Went To A 5/16 Apposed To The 8mm For The Simple Fact Associated Hardware Is Much More Common. As Well As They Are Slightly Longer Than Stock.

We are interested in getting a few sets of your heads when they are available to set up a couple CNC programs on.

Apology accepted..LOL
Just kidding, I know that the cat was let out of the bag a little early and I really pushed you to get some more information on them. After talking with you, it made me want to get the heads even more. I now know why you were wanting to keep everything under wraps until you had all the parts..
On another note, I really thank you for taking the time to talk with me and answer my questions. You definitely have an "A" in customer service... Just too bad your supplier is keeping you from getting the heads out.
Thanks again!

Nickens Bros.
The company I had port my heads 2 years ago has been doing a lot of LS1 builds lately and have tested every set of heads they could get their hands on and they use nothing but ET heads now

There will be both more installed height and the valve will also be a little over .450 longer than a factory valve. The valves do use a .250 tip compared to the LS1 .160 to .180 depending on who's valve you use. We are going from the 1.250 o.d. LSX spring size also to a 1.460 standard o.d. I still have you on the list to get casting when they are available in a porters version.

no, they will fit the stock style manifolds, we do have a version for the ls7, c5r as well. Our head is everything from a street 210cc head all the way to a 265 cc race head as well as the c5r and lS7. I will bug craig to get some pics up so you guys can see what they all look like. We will be price competitive with AFR and the other companys in the future.
