Default 6.0L with a G5X2?

Hey everyone. I'm throwing a G5X2 in my car within the next month and will probably run cam-only for a while. I'd like to, within the next year or two, get a 6.0L LQ9 iron block and go from there. What I was thinking is run the stock rotating assembly with a .030 overbore, and see how that works. I'll be getting ported heads sometime between now and then, and the biggest question would be the cam. How would the G5X2 work in a 6.0 bored .030 over? I want to make some big power without losing too much in the low end, so should I go with a bigger cam? What kind of specs would you recommend? Also, could a 4L60E handle it for long, or should I get a TH350? Please help. Thanks.
Adam

I have over 20,000 miles on a .030 overbored 6.0 liter iron block with the G5-X2 cam. It makes plenty of horsepower on or off the spray. I'm using a Rock-On 4L60E. It is my daily driver. The last time out she was running 6.7s.

A G5x2 will be nothing for a 6.0. If anything you can run much bigger. I'm running a .060 bore with a 244/248 cam and it loves it.

432 is the best NA dyno. The engine has Lunati pro mod rods and diamond pistons, ported LS6 heads, Yella Terra rockers, Crane lifters, G5-X2 cam, ARP head studs, and all the other goodies that go with a pro built motor. A dual stage NX MAF kit jumps the horsepiwer to 638. I'm using a Rock-On 4L60E tranny with a vig convertor and a Ford 9" rearend.

The nitrous system helps tremendously. Right now I'm running 100 hp jetting in both stages for a total of 200 hp. I can hit the first stage much sooner on the street without breaking the tires loose than I could with a single 200 shot. Then I can bring in the second stage if I need it.
