A friend of mine has an awesome deal on a LS1 heads and cam improved motor, this is a great deal for a resently completely re-freshed motor.
Here is a link, check it out...

From Andre...
Anyone interested in a fresh heads & cam LS1?
Considering no one ended up buying my 385CI that's in the Firebird, I am thinking about putting the 385CI into FastNat's Camaro and selling her fresh heads & cam motor... It's only got about 3000km's on it since I had it totally rebuilt... all new rings and bearings, it also has LS6 coated pistons in it. It's a great all around motor and with a good tune it idles and runs just like a stocker (just alot stronger!). Last year I ran an 11.9@119 with a crappy 1.8 sixty and it's best MPH is 121mph... and we all know I am not the best driver in the world Top end specs are as follows...
Comp cams 230/230 112LSA XE-R lobes .592 lift 0 advance
5.3L ARE ported heads 2.02/1.57 valves
Dual Springs (987's)
298cfm @.600 lift intake
228cfm @.600 lift exhaust
227 intake CC's
10.8:1 compression
From a power pesrpective it made 433RWHP/410lb-ft on ARE's dyno last year with a 10 bolt and 3.73's in a T2R and stock drive shaft on 275/40 tires... it's not setup to be a dyno queen, but it does have an excellent power band and made 400lb-ft at only 4000rpm and stayed above 400lb-ft all the way to 5500rpm... we all know that peak power is not the only thing that counts! Keep in mind that this was with stock intake and TB and FLP headers which are far from the best...
The 2nd dyno sheet is with a 12 bolt and 3.73's along with heavy duty steel drive shaft and 315/35 rubber... it still has the stock intake and TB and same exhaust... It's equally fast, it only traps 4-5mph slower than my Firebird and weighs over 200lbs more!
I would like to get $4000US for the motor and you keep your cores which should cover about half of what I am asking... I could also help arrange for a really fast install and tune so you would suffer no more than a couple of days downtime... this motor has 0 piston slap and burns no oil... you are welcome to have it checked out by the shop of your choice...
If you are interested, please PM or email me... Thanks!
