Default Need ring compressor and filing tool

I need a nice ring compressor(3.898-4"), not the junk you can get @ pep-boys and a ring filing tool. Any recommendations?

Summit Racing comes to mind. A good ring compressor really cuts install time.

They don't have a compressor listed but Total seal has one that is like $50, Summit has a nice ring filer for 30.

I would think you could find a decent ring compressor for around 30 dollars. Check out PAW also. I bought one from them years ago.

I like to at least try to do everything myself but the shop who did my block (they are more expensive than anybody around) charged me $75.00 to do my rings. I figured it would take me all day (Its a freakin' lot of rings) and no way I have their experience with ring gaps nor their expensive little grinding tool.

Am I the only cheap *** that's used a flat blade to compress the rings enough to drop in the cylinder
