Default ls6 cam conversion... do i need spring retainers

I'm converting to an ls6 cam. I have ordered the cam, the springs, and will get the pushrods. Do i need new spring retainers?

And is there anything else im missing?

I used the stock ones, no problems here..

If you want to free up some weight on the valvetrain at high rpm's you could go with titanium retainers.

Don't forget your gaskets, and the little special tools if your installing it yourself..

Good luck!
