Default how often should the timing set be replaced on LS1

what is the suggested mileage on a daily driver to replace the timing set and oil pump sounds like it will normally be changed also when the timing is replaced right?

The timing chains on these cars seem to be pretty stout. There are alot of LS1's around with well over 100k on them and never had a problem with the chain or oil pumps. My car has 111k on it with all stock internals, a local guy has 200k on his with all stock internals.. So, they will last a good while.

I have only heard of a few stock chains breaking and that was under some serious loads with some mods done to the engine.. I have an aftermarket chain and ls6 oil pump for my car thats going in as soon as I do the heads/cam swap..

I wouldn't replace either unless you do a cam swap.
