Default What's a good duration split for N/A

What is the advantage of say a 244/250 cam VS a 248/248 cam. These #'s are just for the ? and not an exact cam that i'm looking at. I am just trying to determine the duration split for a cam i want and i am not sure what the benifit is with either cam profile

Figure out what heads you want and where the weak spot is. Being that your exhaust ports will flow less than the intake, I would bias more duration towards the exhaust.

Have you already bought them yet? If not, get a set and have them worked like you want them then have them flow tested. Get a custom cam based on your results. You would be happier than with an off-the-shelf cam.
