Default Oil Pump/Cam swap info needed

Going to swap my cam out,but at the same time I am going to swap out my oil pump.Do I need to drop the oil pan to access the oil pick up or can I get away with loosing it up enough to access the pickup. I am still using the stock K member.

Also going to upgrade to a double roller set as well, while it is off.

you have to drop the pan. its not that hard. just take out all the bolts and let it hang there. the k member will hold it.

Great that is what I thought, I have read past posts, where eng mounts had to be broke loose to get the need clearance. But I might have miss inturpeted them for a full pan removal vs just dopping it.
