Default how much power can the ls1's handle

i have a 00 ls1 in my s10. it is turbocharged running 6 psi. i was wondering how much psi the ls1's can handle on stock internals. any help is appreciated.

8 psi is the max, or so i hear..

sure, with forged internals.

ls1 is all aluminum, remember?
aluminum can't safely handle more than 8 psi

Sure it can, we are talking about stock internals. Below 10 psi is acceptable, as said prolly no more than 8.

yea 8 is about the limit on stock internal parts, than its forged time...

ls1 motorsports successfully ran 17 psi on a stock internal motor, stock heads, etc. motor had 123k+ miles on it and like almost 150 dyno passes and still held together. they actually pulled the motor before it blew up just to swap in a 348.

Depends on tuning, compression, and fuel.. But most guys grenade with more than 10lbs.. With 6lbs it should last for long time!

Ditto all that except the 6 part. All other factors being addressed, you can safely run 9.
