Default need help with cam selection and clearence

bought some used patriot 5.3 stage II cnc heads with the patriot springs etc... They are decked 5 thousandths.

Going to run on stock 40k miles shortblock
plan to pair with mac headers and ORY, magnaflow cat back, ls6 intake, bolt ons etc...

want to run a healthy cam, but obviously don't want the hassle of fly cutting pistons.

I have a couple of choices

MTI R1 cam 232/236 .575/.578 on a 114 LSA

or

g5x1 228/232 Duration & 588/574 Lift at 112 Lobe

I think either should make decent power

also planning on running 7.35 pushrods, does this sound right?

also adding a LS6 oil pump during this fiasco of an install. Any other recommendations?

I could use hints on which gaskets, head bolts etc...
