anybody know the size of bolt that is used for a LS1 flywheel?

Search for flywheel bolts in the archives. I just answered this for someone like a week ago.

They are also available from ARP from a lot of the sponsors.

You won't find them at any local bolt stores, go to GM and get them, i just got a set today, costs 1.11 per bolt

holy crap, whats up with GM using an 11x1.5 bolt, what an odd damn thing... any way thanx for the tips guys. i will order them in the morning.

do they sell a regular type bolt head instead of Allen wrench type i hate them they nearly striped out on me when i tried taken off the torque converter.

Don't know how you got allen head bolts, but none of my 4 TC's came with them, just regular 6 points. so yeah, regular bolts could/should be used. This thread is about flywheel bolts though (M6), not flex plate bolts (A4).
