Cam install this weekend, anything I'v overlooked????? Hey folks, awesome website btw. I have the Cheatr cam, springs/shims, retainers, locks, water pump/timing cover gaskets, new LS2 timing chain, hardened pushrods and a new crank bolt. Is there anything else I'll need besides a 12pack of Bud?

Do you have a valve spring tool to compress the springs, a pulley removal tool and something to hold up the lifters while taking out the old cam (either 16 pen magnets or the rods that go in the block)? If so, I think you're all set. Get a pack of band-aids while you're at it.

Looks like some bandaids will have to be accounted for though
