how to identify iron 6.0L block?

Default how to identify iron 6.0L block?

i want to do a 6.0L 408 stroker and i want to buy it from the junk yard. how do i know that, is it a 6.0L stamped on the block just like the 5.3 and 4.8? or there is something else?

My 5.7L was in the casting of the block on the passenger side where the bell bolts to the engine, neer the top. Don't know for sure if the 6.0L is the same place.

It's stamped 6.0, and it only has one bolt where the alternator would normally be on a 5.7 block (if it hasn't been used for any other application).

its stamped 6.0 on it.

get a ruler, if its about 4" across each bore then youve got it

its heavier than a alum block
