Default Cam-Newbie Question

Can I just put a new cam in my car without doing anything else to the heads or anything. Or would this be a bad idea? I'm looking at the F13-LSM112 cam.

The heads don't need to be touched, but valve springs are a must and so is tuning with a cam like the F13.

Do you have any other mods (especially headers)? what are your goals? A cam is a good mod, but you need to select one that matches your other mods and driving needs.

Well I'd prefer to do matching mods to the f13 cam. So I guess what I'm asking what do I need bare minimum to have a good set up with the f13 cam, and what do I need for a optimum set up.

What would getting new pushrods do for me? Should I get the ones at stock length with these cams? they are only 100 dollars. So I figured they'd be good to buy, which ones would suggest?

When you get a cam kit, the pushrods are usually included along with titanium retainers, and springs depending if you go for the fancy cam kit or the bare bones kit.

Just go check out the major sponsors, like Thunder Racing, Futral Motorsports, or Texas Speed and take a look at their cam packages.
