Are hardened pushrods necessary with h/c setup.
This is for my '00 Corvette. I've got the following parts waiting to go on, but unfortunaly I've run out of cash for the moment.
Precision Porting stage 3 heads w/ PRC Gold valve spring kit
LGM G5X-3 114 cam
Rollmaster double roller timing chain
LS6 oil pump
Flow matched 36# injectors
Are hardened pushrods necessary to complete this round of modding?

What's the spec's on that cam? I would run them dont skimp out on a 100 dollar part. How many miles do you have on the car? Might want to do the lifters when you have the heads off.

Don't leave home without them. Think about the work that the pushrod is doing at 6500 rpm, then think of the destruction to the rockers and valves when it breaks.
