Default Help Guys!

at what point does your "low oil" light come on...? anyone know? i checked the dipstick but wasnt' getting a difinitive oil fill line, and just kept adding half a quart here and there......... now i think i over filled it, unless that light doesn't come on until you]'re REALLY low... anyone help me out?

Oil light won't come on until your LOW! keep filling oil until it gets to the full line.

i added 5 quarts.............. still had a light on. like i said there is really no clear cut "the oil comes up to here" line... i think i need a cleaner rag to whipe it off really good. lol

okay.... i just went out to the lot and checked the car. light finally went off... then i re-checked the level w/ a clean rag this time. i over filled it (DOH!) but i'll just drain out the over fill when i get home from work and just reuse whatever i drain out. (i just put it in there)
