Default Comp 918's with FM 13 Cam

What do you guys think? Good idea. Bad Idea?

I know there are dual springs out there in fact i did buy the prc kit from futural (Dual springs, seals, hardend pushrods, titanium retainers) but they never shipped me the springs and i cannot get ahold of them. So for the time being do you guys thing the Comp 918's will get me by for 5 - 10 k miles?
I dont want to order another set of springs from another vendor. I can wait for futural. However long thats going to take. In the mean time i think i can get away with running the comp 918s with all the stuff Furural sent me (seals, hardend pushrods, titanium retainers) except the springs, with 918's.

The titanium retainers and the seals the prc kit comes with should work fine with the comp 918 single springs, correct?

Futral called me today....way sooner than I would have expected considering they just survived a disaster. I think i'll relax, have a , and wait patiently for them to put their lives back together. it might take a little while and i'm sure they will appreciate your patience too. Like you said we can wait - good approach!!

PRC retainers will not fit 918's, your stock ones will.

Just be patient.

918's are fine.....been running them on my F13 for over 5k so far. Allen at Futral said they should be fine for 15k atleast before I'd need to check them. Don't think a dual is going to necessarily give you any more 'safety' over a good single spring.

I believe the package comes with Manley Titanium Retainers or maybe Comps, but the ones he got were Manley Titanium Retainers. Will those fit -work with the Comp 918s. Well either Comp or Manley Titanium retainers work fine, correct?

918's require Beehive size retainers, stock, lunati or comp makes them
