Default Where to buy all thread for crank

I need a piece of M16 x 2.00 to seat the crank pulley. Can I get this locally?

Go to the autozone and rent a pulley installer. Then go to the hardware store and get some all thread 3/8" rod cut it down some screw the end of the installer into the crank and pull the pulley on. That is usually the way I do mine

I found mine at a local hardware store. Just call around and ask for metric threaded rod.

Yep, about the same here too. Cost me less than $8. Look in your yellow pages for businesses that deal exclusively with bolts and screws and other fasteners. That is usually where you will get the best deal. For example, in my area we have two such businesses, named Ace Bolt and Screw and Mac Steel and Bolt Co. Look for businesses like that.

I ordered it from McMaster Car. Got the nuts yesterday, still waiting on the threaded rod.
