You are slow. Leave the heads on and same with the tranny and get it out in 1.5 to 2 hours. From the top.

removing it from the bottom is pretty easy... 6 bolts for the k memeber, 8 for the shocks. 4 for the transmission cross memeber, 2 for torque arm, remove driveshaft, disconect fuel lines, disconect wire from starter, move wires and computer.

i am going to rebuild the motor in my car soon and i always thought id just pull it out the top and it would be easy. after working on my wrecked car i think ill take the motor out the bottom

mine came out the top tanny and all even on my slanted *** driveway. No need to jack the car way up or anything. I'm not saying anything against going out the bottom since I've never done it, but the top was fairly easy.

Sounds like some of you like to be on top and others like to be on the bottom!! Either way is good as long as you are careful and dont f... something up.

That is not true maybe less electrical conections witch are the easy things lol! If you are taking off less to pull it out the top then you are not doing it out the bottom the easy way IMO. But to each his own some find other things are easier to remove than others. I have done both also and bottom is the only way for me. Good luck they both require just about the same tools.

what i like about the point of doing it from the bottom is that you wouldnt have to remove the radiators or anything like that. also i think there would be less of a chance to crush something doing it from the bottom. after doing an intake swap i dont want to ever mess with putting on an intake with it in the car
