Anyone know the dealer re-ring proceedure ? I had mine re-ringed in 2003 per the TSP for excessive oil consumption. Anyway, how do the dealers perform the labor? Do they pull pistons from the top or bottom. Anyone know? My only real reason for asking is I wonder if I had new 2001+ rod bolts put in while they were at it. Can you re-use rod bolts ?
