Question Best ls1 guide?

I am looking in buying a book to aid me in my shortblock rebuild. I need the book w/ the most specs and clearances etc, etc. I was looking at SDPC's website, and they offer 3 books that I could find on ls1's.

One from Hp books http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/4230...nce-Manual.htm

One from S/A Designs and Cartech (this is the one I had in mind)
http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/4223...1-LS6-V-8s.htm

And one from GMPP ($42.00!!!)
http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/516/...tion-Guide.htm

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

The GMPP one won't help, that is the booklet that comes with crate motors...good stuff if you're doing a conversion but not much for internal engine.

The one you had in your hand is a very good one, I also have a Haynes Repair Manual for Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird 1993-2000 which is very good...lots of torque specs, disassembly/reassembly, pics etc. etc., I found both very useful.
