what are you asking? the 921's are a double cylindrical spring and the 918's are a single conical.

i've got the retainers, stem seals and the other stuff that comes with the 921 spring kit..... im about to buy another set of springs and im wondering if the 918s with work with the 921 kits retainers and such?

basically 921 kit minus the dual springs plus the 918 springs... will that work?

retainers, no. stem seals, yes. not sure how thick the seats are that come with the 921's. i'd use the stock ones for the 918's. the O.D of the 921's vs 918's are a difference of .010
