Default Lovin my HPE 408

I have had my car back for about a week now and i just wanted to say how much i love my new 408 ls1 stroker from HPE. the change going from my stock ls1 with headers back, to this with a cam is just ridiculous. I am afraid to take it to the track that i may destroy my rear end and i dont have the funds right now to buy a 12 bolt. what kind of times and mph do you think i could get with my setup. 98 TA (automatic A4) with HPE 408(cam with 610 lift) pacesetter ceramic coated LT's, TSP ypipe, Ravin Exhaust. 3.73 rear, 3600 stall(fuddle racing) transgo shift kit, and all the bolt on suspension mods.

Id say high to mid 10's on a set of slicks & a good hook. Give soem more info. Theres a guy in the drag racing section that ran his 408 last week went 11.17 on drag radials. Then grenaded the rear. The car was an auto also. Maybe he'll chime in.

Do not worry about your rear, I launch with 500rwhp on juice and no failures yet.
But I would worry more about your tranny, I have FLP stage IV.

give us head data and cam specs... the 610 lift really doesn't mean much. it's more int he duration and lsa.... but anyways... it's probably got around 600 flywheel horsepower, so i'd figure with a dead hook should put down mid 10's easy.
