Default help me prepare to build a motor guys

6.0 liter block or ls1 or ls6 block

i have a cam only ls1 in the car now.. im trying for a personal goal with a n/a setup, then its back to the nitrous sometime next year for me.. wiht probably a 200-250 shot on the stock bottom end for yet another personal goal of mine..

that being said, and me being broke we all know imma need a new motor sometime next year right.. so what should i start with..

i already have a set of 241 casting heads that are damn near brand new... perfect to send to a place like futral to be worked over to flow there best.. which is all fine and good and well..

but will the 241's work on a 6.0 block? i think they will. but are the capable to flow enuff.. basically i want to focus on the bottom end with most of my money...... atleast at first.. i need a bottom end in any case to handle 300rwhp DP shot of nitrous and laugh at it but then i need this same setup to drive around town and look cool lol.... my version of streetablity is a lil farfetched tho

so 6.0 liter block or ls1/ls6 block with either way a big cam, and ported 241 castings

i need this puppy ready to go in when the other one goes

i think your plan is pretty good, but some other options for heads will come along pretty soon- you may want to see how they fare out. As of right now, afr has some thick head decks for those large hits you're planning! I'd wait to see how people like the new dart heads as well.

oh, i voted for the 6.0 block as well.

I have a 408 Stroker with ported 241 heads on it and the car runs damn good. If you are loooking at spraying a 300 shot, get custom nitrous pistons and definately get the iron block...
