I blew up my LS1 put in a 6.0, milled the heads cause it was the low compression 6.0, put a big cam in it and dynoed 424/420. I now have a stock LS1 motor. Does that answer your question?
The 6.0 has 18 more cubes but about 100 more lbs on the front of your car. If you were doing a nitrouse or FI street car and you didn't care about weight then go for it.

PFF. Do a search on Bigeller. He was the first person to do a 6.0 swap. Everyone said it was to much weight and his car would never go fast. The damn car made over 420rwhp with a mild cam and some good heads and was smoken fast for the syspention he had under it. I know for a if i had driven the car it could have gone faster. Not saying i am a better driver i just weigh 150lb less than he does.
