Well are you running cats? Do you know what your Air/Fuel ratio is? Who did the tuning? Did they just do WOT tuning, like most?
The heavy odor of gas at start up or at idle can also be from a lean condition. These PCM's will add fuel to the point of 25% if you are lean. So just because you smell strong exhaust fumes does not mean you are rich in the conventional idealogy.
Do you know what kind of overlap that cam has? What are your specs?
Overlap (the time that both valves are open) will cause raw gas to get by the combustion process. If you are confident in your tuner and the car runs good, I would not be concerned. The only way to truly take care of it would be get some form of tuning software and tweak it yourself.

You will get an exhaust odor, yes. Some people because of cats are not use to this. If you are familiar with older cars and muscle cars this is normal.
I installed my cam 2 weeks ago. It is untuned at the moment and at idle is running 18% lean at idle. The PCM is dumping gas and it is really bad to stand behind.
Before the cam, the exhaust was not bad at all. There was some exhaust odor but nothing overbearing. I hope with some tuning I can get the exhaust close to that again.

Yea I am not running cat's and I was wondering why it smelled like that. But I am going to have my friend retune with HP TUNER'S because I heard it was better then LS1edit. Am I correct on that and thank's for the info because I thought that there was something wrong. The question on my A/F 12.5 straight across the board's.

Well with your safe AFR that will cause alittle more odor. I would definately, if available, have everything verified. HPTuners is alot more refined and updated I believe than LS1Edit. Good luck.

it smells like gas because you're overfueling it in a big way. in some cars it's so bad you actually get gas on the tailpipes. It's because your VE table is setup for stock cam, not for a much peakier F13.
you need a retune, you already talked to Kevin about it, let's talk more details if you'd like.
