Default How to prelube LSX engines

We made this setup with parts lying around the shop. That is an old school small block oil pump that we used. We tapped the suction (pickup tube) with a pipe fitting (3/8). We also tapped the pressure side with a pipe fitting (3/8). We then used a bolt with the same thread as the oil pan, drilled it through and welded a fitting to it. The fitting going in to the block is a factory plug that has been drilled and tapped with a fiffing srewed into it.
