? About valve springs? I bought a set of duals that came off a set of AFR 205's. I want to use them with the stock LS1 heads. TR said I would need the locators and to contact AFR, but Tony said they only work on the AFR heads. What do I need, and who sells them?

I believe Vinci installed a set of Cranes on the AFR heads. They might be able to help you out since they might be familiar with spring swaps on these heads. I would be curious what you find out, since if I go to AFR's I will also install different springs on them.

I thought AFR heads used the same double spring that is sold as Patriot Golds, PRCs, and TEAs. I forget the name of the manufacturer, but they were making the same spring for everyone, just some with different colorings. If that is the case the spring seat sold with any of those brand springs should work. I would contact Gunnar at Patriot and see if he will sell you a set. They always seem willing to provide spring kit odds and ends for people. Did you at least get the retainers with the springs?
