Default LQ9 heads on a 5.3L

I have been told that the Lq9 heads #317 will bolt right on my 5.3l. If so is there anything else that is needed for the swap, or does anyone have any usefull information for the for the swap? Any and all information would help.

I know you don't need a different intake on a fbody when going to these heads.

Chambers will be too large, valves will be shrouded.
Dished pistons is the way to go, with ported 5.3 heads and bowl cleaning to reduce a few CCs.

When the valves come down, the cylinder walls will be close, reducing the flow capabilities of he valve. (intake)
