Default Precision Race Components 1.5S Head Now Available!

We've just finished up our 5.3l based Stage 1.5 Street cylinder head. This head will feature the same port design as the stage 2.5 cylinder heads, but without the complete hand finishing. The heads will be available with either 2.02 or 2.04 intake valves & new 1.55 exhaust valves. The cylinder head will feature Comp Cams 918 valve springs & can be ordered decked to the customers specs!

We have also been working on a p/v friendly 5.3l cylinder head configuration that allows customers with camshafts like the Magic Stick to install cylinder heads without flycutting

I'll post some 1.5S head flow #'s later today, but they flow about 248cfm @.400 & just over 300cfm @ .600"

These cylinder heads will be on intro special until the 14th for $1100 outright!!!

Yet another great addition to the growing selection of reasonably priced heads.

This option is definately great for the guys wanting a budget head that actually performs the way it's advertised It will include a complete flow sheet & money back guarantee just like the Stage 2.5 heads!!!

More info on these heads please. I'm running your 233/239 R1, and want to know for sure before I order anything that there won't be any clearence issues.

I know this officially makes me an idiot but what is the difference between stage 1.5 and 2.5?

The 1.5's have a smaller exhaust valve and 918 springs.

The 1.5 Street head will have the smaller exhaust valve, 918 springs & won't be completely hand polished like the 2.5 heads. These heads really flow well even without the hand porting! They work so well that I put this exact setup on my personal 01 WS6

Here's some results from a 224.228 car with a PRC head install

--------->
We just recently finished up a PRC Stage 2.5 head install on a 224/228 cam'd automatic car. All the car received was stage 2.5 heads & a ported throttle body!!
The car is a stock verter automatic car with cats & stock pulley!!

Enjoy!!
