Default Which cam do I need

I am thinking about putting a bigger cam in my 02 Firehawk. I just wanted to hear everyone's opinion on which cam I should go with. I don't know much about the cams out there. The only cam I have heard much about is the F-13. Also what kind of springs do I need to get if I go with a fairly big camshaft. I don't have a lot of $ for heads so I think I will just have my stock heads ported and polished. Just wanted to get an idea on which direction I should go. thanks

with a bigger cam you will need new valvesprings, pushrods, timing chain, and most likely a ported oil pump. A underdrive pulley is not needed but will help out up top. if you go with a 112 LSA it will be a little more choppier than a 114 LSA. the F-13 is good so is the tsp magic stick, T-rex to name a few. like co.6z28 says try to get everything as a package. most sponsors offer packages and you usually save some money doing it that way.
