Default ET Performance 11 degree heads, any dyno numbers?

Iam anxious to put their 255 or 265 heads on my 427. Did anyone install & dyno any of their 11 degree heads?

Only one person that I know of has recieved theirs and they haven't been installed yet. So there's a 99.9% chance that you won't get an answer. I have some ordered, but haven't got them yet.

Mine are going to be here in a couple of days. We're testing a set of 240s and 225s on a nicely built 346.

There are more sets shipping out in the next two weeks of the 265's. In the next batch of heads some of the 255's will be run off. There will be dyno numbers of our own in December. The two sets that have been shipped out of the 265's are where to bottlefed (spelling) and Brian at LME. None on the 255's as of yet, programing is finished just waiting on casting which will be here next week. The wait is worth it and everyone will be more than happy with the performance and value of these cylinder heads.

Thank you,
Craig

Hopefully mine are in that batch. I also believe they are deffinatlly worth it. I'm sure performance will be second to none.

Some of those we have on the shelf, depending on the chamber volume you are looking for.

BTW,

We do have dyno numbers already, I ran a whole bunch of combinations last week down in texas on an engine dyno. More for our comparison sake. We tested our 215 and 240 cc head on a 346 and ls2 engine. 11:1 compression on both and a little baby camshaft. We are still running some other combinations and intake manifolds though, so I wont post a spread until we are all done. All I can say is that I was rather suprised. The 215 was worth quite a bit more torque and HP than what I thought it would be over the LS6 and 5.3 heads. We also ran some AFR heads as well, 225's. It was all A-B-A testing, so we will post accurate data. The 11 degree valve angle was worth 3-4 degrees less of ignition timing as well. We made the best power at 27 degrees. I can also say how impressive the fast intake was too. We ran a 244dur .630lift 114 cam in the ls2, no piston notching was required. still had quite a bit of P to v

What would the price be for a set of 255's or 265's? and which would of be better for a 408? looking for around 550-600rwhp n/a then a little n2o on top of that.

Depends on how much you want to spend as to which one's you should get. The 265's will require custom rockers due to the offset intake valve. The custom rockers run about $1500 on top of the $3,000 head price. Then you have other options on top of that, that could add to the price. I'll have over $4700 in with ET by the time my 265's get to me, BUT, they should be the best thing out to feed my huge stroker motor, in which no expense was spared either. For far less than the cost of a LS-7 crate motor, I'll have a 454 ci street pounder that will put any new vette/cobra in the dirt. It seems like alot of money, but when you add it all up and compare it to the price of other things, it really isn't that bad.

ok Well that lets me know what ballpark I am looking at. Would I need anything special with the 255's? I looked on the site and all I see are the flow numbers. I see the bore sizes for each head and the 255's look like they would work better for me anyways. If I could save the $1500 that would be fine with me.

THE 255 IS A GOOD BANG FOR THE BUCK BEING THEY DON'T NEED THE SHAFT ROCKERS. NOTHING SPECIAL IS REQUIRED EXCEPT FOR THE ROCKER PEDESTALS FOR A STOCK TYPE ROCKER ARM

*What is the wait time looking like on the 255?

Time wait is 4-5 weeks right now. May be sooner.

*Can you guys give us alittle info on how much more they made? Did you test them against stock heads or ported?

There will be info here real short. 215/5.3/5.7 same bottom end just swaped heads that is it.

*I feel your pain. I have a set of 240cc's ordered for my 408 thru LME. We're waiting too.

Your stuff is going to be out of here in a few days.
