Is this a bad lobe? Was about to do an install an noticed this groove on one of the lobes-you can feel it ever so slightly if you rub your fingernail over it-is it something to worry about? This is a used camshaft and the car had no previous problems-just went to larger shaft.

I'm not sure, but that doesn't look good to me. Most roller camshafts I've seen just have a slight wear mark in the center of the lobe. How does(or did) the lifter look?
