sounds pretty impossible to get that kind of displacement from a small block. Sorry, I'm a skeptic. GM engineers were just barely able to make it a 427 in3 on the LS7 Z06. The cylinder walls are only seperated by a few millimeters right now.

I agree. Even if possible, that would make for a whole lot more stroke than I'd be interested in.

Rumor has it that the new World block will be available in a 9.800" deck height, which could make this possible.

Now How about a 10 Cylinder LS10 We could keep the 500 ci and reduce the stroke too

4.175" or 4.2" bore aftermarket block is what you would need to not have a crazy stroke length. Dont see how they would do it with the tolerances as tight as they already are.

theres a 454 ls1 out there... hell when the 427 and 454 sbc's were first built i believe there were a lot of people that said it wouldnt work and now theres a factory built big inch small block, albeit not the gen1, in the new ZO6. so dont discount it until it fails, if it does.

That would be badass if they did. It would be way too expensive though.
