Default Did head swap and popped both gaskets?

I have done a handfull of buddys cars. Brand new heads, cleaned the block surface. I used fel pro 1041 gaskets, then I used a 3609 arp head bolt. Well after researching on here, people said there are 2 different sets of arp bolts and I looked on arps site and the listing for this part number is for the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 block the other part number is for "LS1&LS6 w/all the same length studs, 2004, pro series.

Did I get the wrong bolts? Everything was torqued

I personally like the OEM (like the ones from Patriot) just because you dont have to go back and take everything apart 2 more times to re-torque the heads. They expand on there own.

More than likely the bolt's bottomed out giving a false torque reading.I've read of a few people having this problem. We personally use studs on all our cars.

Factory bolt's suck
