what do you guys think?
right now i have a symmetrical cam 218/551" @114 lsa. i also have 918 valve springs. i was wanting to put in the crane 1.8 rocker arms. my question is what is the max lift for these springs and will they take this lift or should i just go ahead w/ a new cam? also will i need longer pushrods? any help would be appreciated.

How did you go with this?
918s are rated to 0.62 lift, even though they say 0.60. They did this so as not to compete with their newer 921s. So they will handle the lift no worries.
I presume you have already done this by now, so how did it go?

Since you question boils down to a "what lift can comp 918's safely handle" it could have been answered very well and in depth through the use of the search button. There is no such thing as a dumb question, but there are plenty of examples of questions that can VERY easily be answered through search. Those are the types of questions many people are likely to skip over.
I wouldn't mess with the rockers. If you must make a change, get a new cam. Think 230+.
I don't want to be a search **** but guess what, someone has to do it. There is a TON of information available through search. TONS. Use it. When I was learning the basics and picking a cam I spent hours upon hours searching, day after day. You are seriously letting possible benefits of this sight slip through your fingers if you don't use that happy little button.
Oh yeah, read the stickies.
