Default Does a truly "Stealth" cam exist?

"Stealth" cams may sound stock out the exhaust but b/c of their aggressive ramp rates & high lift you need HD springs and this makes for a lot of valvetrain noise.

My cars under warranty if you know what I mean and want a truly stealth cam, that will still add a decent amount of power over my stock LS6 cam.

Want to do a totally stealth H/C setup. will be run through 100% exhaust including stock manifolds. Only visible/noticeable mod will be the vararam. Possible?

The shop is going to be able to tell you've got aftermarket Heads on the motor at a glance.

I'm sure there are cams out there that will fill your need, but I'm not an expert. Just get one on a 116-118 LSA, and you should be good for idling sound. Don't know how much power you would be leaving though. How long until your warranty expires? An '01 is 4 years old. Did you pitch for the 5 year?

I just extended it another 4yrs/32k miles today for $1290. Major Guard GMPP warranty. The heads are PP stage 2 LS6 heads. If patriot doesnt put any markings on them how can they tell?

the old man cam...mti's stealth cams...a few other are out there..you can also get a custom cam with a cam with a .570 lift or less since the ls6 springs are good to .575 and then a 115+ to tame the idle. then you could go up to a higher duration intake and exhaust.

Why spend all that money to get 1/4 of the power from the mods with your restrictions?

What a lot of us forget is that "Stealth" is relative to exhaust used.
The quietest non OEM system is cated with Magnaflow muff.
I've had 3 exhausts with my Stealth II cam and the one above is the most stealthy at idle, untill you open it up of course.

The LPE GT2-3 is about as stealth as you can get. Even comes with GM springs. No noise up front and no noise in back.

because LS6 heads have a different casting #.

BUSTED

sorry. if you are worried about warranty, spray is the way to go, especially if you bought the car used(you could claim abuse was because a previous owner).
