Why are you putting STG3 heads on a stock block?

right now i want to just do heads and a cam and i already run nitrous, but i'm going to go with a 408 and just change everything over to it. If i could i would do the 408 now, but funds won't allow.

I was going to ask if you were going bigger cubes later. I didn't see the reasoning to put big *** valves on a 346.

i called patriot performance and they told me to have it chambered to 59cc and that would put me at 11:1 comp and i would still be able to run on pump gas. does that sound right to you?

Do you have a base dyno? I could guess all day, but it would mean nothing without knowing what you make now. What other mods do you have?

You aren't going to hit 400 without any boltons and an LS1 intake. By exhaust, do you mean full exhaust as in headers and catback, or just catback?

Are you referring to dumped exhaust? Your post isn't very clear. So do you have headers or not? If you don't, you are going to be choking your motor with that cam.

Before you even look into heads/cam you need a converter. Your stock verter cant hold that power. That should have been one of ur first mods.

The bigger valves in those heads won't give you enough p/v with the Magic stick camshaft. You would neet to cut the pistons to clear...

We had to build a complete custom set of PRC heads specifically designed to clear the larger camshafts like the MS3, TRex, etc...
