Default LS6 valves

Is there anywhere to get a hold of a set? Maybe from sponsors who get extra when they do head jobs? Help me out.

Intake is pt # 12565311 & exhaust is pt # 12565312. They list for nearly $43 each and can be had for around $33 each plus shipping.

Complete genuine 2002-2004 LS6/Z06 heads look like a bargain for the prices I've seen on these forums & the auction site considering the cost of the lightweight valves.

I think it's almost cheaper to get a set of used Ls6 (243 castign) heads with valves, instead of buying valves separaterly from the dealer....

i have a few valves laying around.... they should all be in good condition i had no idea they cost that much... might be some bent ones but i doubt it... only one that went bad was the one that broke off and shattered my piston hehe

Careful here, I am not sure the new heads come with the original valves but rather the LS2 valves. I believe there is a TSB out on this but can't confirm.

I would really like to get a full set of the lightweight LS6 valves, used or whatever. Hundreds upon hundreds of dollars just seems a bit much.

I have a set of LS6 (243) heads on the way for our project Trans Am car. The heads are new, all stock valve train. I'll give you a good deal on the valves if you want them.
Give me a call (512) 257-0222, PM or e-mail ask for Harold.

They pop up for sale in the for sale section and on ebay randomly. You could also get a set of titanium valves off of ebay rather cheaply and have them turned down. That's what I'm doing for a couple set of heads I have. Just remember LSx stuff is 8mm.
