Default Milling Stock Head CR?

I'm working on a 01 LS1 all stock now, i am going to put the TSP mini stick in it 235/240. I am thinking about milling the heads, i do not have the cam yet to check the PVC but this is my question. Ttsp says that milled heads will require fly cutting b/c the tolerances are so tight. If i mill the heads say .030 then fly cut the pistons will i gain any compression b/c the combustion chamber decreases with the milling but increase with the fly cutting, will it be worth the effort?

Yes, youll gain compression. Think how much larger the combustion chamber is vs the valve relief.

you'll lose a little compression from fly cutting your pistons

but you'll have to do something or not mill the heads that much to stuff that big cam in there.

Though, I have a brand new set AFR 205 I might be selling
