Default Are there any good heads available NOW?

I'm looking for a good set of heads for an LS1 with blower.

I've been following all the progress on just about everyone's heads, but I need a good set NOW

Anyone have a set in stock?

Point me if you would

Here is who I've contacted and lead times are 3 to 4 weeks or more.

ETP. Dart, TEA, Cartek, W2W and a few others

I need something in a 225 cc range quickly

AFR 225cc heads come with a 72cc chamber... will that work for you? They also have a thicker deck to prevent flexing or lifting under big boost situations... they are available now.

If you want heads now, get the AFR's. BTW, 3-4 weeks isn't a bad lead time on the ET heads for the power they are making. Just depends on how you feel about leaving a few HP on the table.

I've called around and everyone is out of AFR's and ETP's at the moment.

IF any of the vendors has a set of 225's in stock, please let me know

Thanks

check ls1speed.com, futralmotorsports.com, thunderracing.com, byunspeed.com (could have them, not positive though) Those are the three main vendors I would buy from. Make sure you call AFR as well if you haven't already.

I don't know who would have told you a 3-4 week lead time from here. We have some bare (unported) AFR castings on the shelf that we could cut and ship in about a week. We have a 225 cc port and a 238 cc port, the big port has made over 1500 HP for W2W. Let me know

Call me directly at AFR on Monday...

Not sure why you wouldn't have done that sooner but I might be able to point you in the right direction. I know a few dealers that might still have a set on the shelf.

@ .050 Very nice constructed heads, never seen a nicer set. We have a few now because of that
