Default What heads/cam for 370 iron block?

A friend is giving me a smoking deal on a 6.0L iron block, so I'm going to build a 370 ci LS1. I currently have a stock bottom end & stock heads '98 running a TSP 231/237 cam on spray. I would assume that the 231/237 would work in a 370, but would it be best to go with a bigger cam since I'm going with forged pistons with valve reliefs? Also, what are a good set of heads? Would I be better getting a set of ported 5.7L heads or go with 5.3L/6.0L heads? I'd like to run around 11:1-11.5:1 compression and probably spray a 200 shot.
This will primarily be a street car with a couple of track days a year.

There are ton's of options. If I were you I'd give futral motorsports a call. Their cams are always producing top notch numbers. As far as heads. I'd try and get something that goes with the cam. I wouldn't go with 5.3L heads. How much are you looking to spend, that's the big question in determining heads.

I'm interested in waiting for the Dart 225s. I think they'd be a good match for the 370. I'd prefer not to sink all of my money into a set of heads since I like the nitrous. This will be a budget build up since it's going to be a side project. I just want to be certain of the correct combo before I start buying parts.

I assumed the 5.3/6.0L heads were heading in the wrong direction since they lower compression.

I'd say a cam in the 24x/24x duration area. Like mentioned, FMS makes some really good custom grinds for this type of setup and cam duration.

AFR 225cc heads, or a set of ported LS6 style
