Default How much work for a cam...

Alright I am looking into getting a cam and some new double valve springs for my ride, I was just wondering how many hours of labor/how difficult this is to do to an ls1. I have read some threads that said this was almost as easy as most bolt-ons, is this true? Thanks for any help

Plan a weekend & an extra set of hands. Total time was about 6 hours.

We kind of worked on 2 cars at once. This is an LS2 402.

I did mine without any help at all except for my wife helping pull the radiator out. Took about a week just working in the evenings so about 8 hours total. Could do it in much less time now.
