I dont feel like doing it myself and I was wondering what the going rate was for a cam install. Not including the tune.

In my garage, it's 65.00 for a keg of Miller light, 50.00 for food, a few bucks for fluids. Doing it yourself = priceless.

Really it's not that hard.

I so badly want to learn how.. but buying the tools + aggrevation of learning and making expensive mistakes makes me wonder if I should just hand the keys to East Side

Honestly, you will be happy once you fire it up after doing it yourself. I don't think it'd be as satisfying as firing it up after handing over $600 cash to the guys at the shop.

Got to www.Ls1howto.com and read over the install guide. I mean read it over, and over, and OVER again and again. Each time you do, you will catch another thing. You'll see it's really not too bad at all. Just take your time, take a lot of breaks. Don't pay attention to how long each step takes, if it takes you a week, it takes you a week. It's okay as long as you know it's all covered.

Really, check it out, you see how it's done. It's worth 100x more if you do it yourself!
