What to do? New engine time
Replacing the stock shortblock, heads and cam.
I will keep the Fast 90, and the ASP pulley. That's about it. This will run through a TH350, 4600 stall, CM DS, 12 bolt and 4.10 gear. I want a combination that will shift out at 7000 - 7200 RPM.
My idea of driveability is not killing the car between the waterbox and the trailer. I will see about 2000 street miles a year.
Combination I am tinking about:
1. 348 forged 12:1 big cam ETP 225 heads
2. 370 LS2 block 11.5:1 big cam ETP 245 heads
3. 370 Iron block big cam 11.5:1 ETP 245 heads
No strokers. I want to run 10.7 or better every time out. The car has about .2 left in it from the 11.30. I am learning to drive after the TH350 swap. Gotta remember there is no clutch to break anymore

I would think with those heads, a BIG cam & the FAST 90 more cubes would be better. And since I've never been a fan of sleeved motors in hi compression or boosted applications, I say go with the iron block.

yeah fo sho I mean iron block just has manly writen all over it, and since its going to be a track only car then definetly go with a iron block and BIG CAM
but the choice is still yours choose what you think you will like the most all of them will yeild a very fast car
