Default Ahhh! What motor for me?

Its so confusing trying to decide what motor to buy for my car! I have a 2002 Z28, weighs about 3700 with me in it. A4, 4200 stall, 12 bolt 3.73 geared, good suspension, etc. I wanna go 10's all motor and on pump gas, and maybe spray it with 100-150 shot. I have a Racetronix fuel pump and 42# injectors, and long tubes with TD's, etc, etc. Car ran 11.45 with MTI heads and cam on motor, stock bottom end. I'm thinking LS2 402 with AFR heads, or ???? I don't think the added weight of an iron block is worth it for me. Oh, and this has to be daily driveable. Not that I will, but I want reliability. Help me guys!

If you can afford it, buy the LS2 402. Myself I prefer a 346.

Don't be fooled by the extra weight. 402/408's have been proving themselves over and over. There is no comparison between MTI & AFR. Keep your MTI heads.
