Exclamation Head Gaskets: Where to Find for Sleeved Motor?

I am looking around for head gaskets and can't find any for a 4.125" bore LS1 block. Come to think of it, I can't find any head gaskets for cylinder bores other than stock. Where do you find head gaskets? I am assuming I need a head gaskets with a 4.125" bore correct? I'd imagine a stock bore gasket would work, but would not be preferable. Is there anything to consider when buying head gaskets other than thickness and bore? Is one brand better than another? Thanks!

Cometic, C-5317-051 is 4.130 bore with .051 compressed, but you can order different compressed thicknesses.
Cometic also has a 4.125 bore gasket for a darton sleeved block C-5789-040

Mike, you would generally want your gasket to be at least .010" bigger than your bore. Cometic can get you a gasket in almost any size you want. Felpro 1041's would also work for your block. SCE makes a copper gasket with rubber around all the ports in alot of sizes and I believe Mr. Gasket has a big bore gasket as well. Thunder has the Cometics on their site. Almost any gasket you get is going to be MLS. I haven't seen a big bore graphite gasket as of yet, but I wish I could find one. They rule out almost all the chances for leaks, whearas the MLS's are picky.

It can be more or less if need be. People run the Fel pro 1041 on stock bores and it is a 4.135 gasket. The basic choices I saw from minor browsing was the Cometic 119-C5317, which is .051 w/ a 4.130 bore, then the 1041 fel pro, which was a 4.135 bore and .041 compressed. Also found a brand called "Flat out gaskets", which was a 4.130 bore .054" compressed. # FOG-923654130 on Summit.

I see, thanks! I have found many 4.130" bore gaskets in all sorts of brands. I guess I will use those. I will probably custom order them from Cometic so I can use the thickness to tweak my compression ratio. The Felpro 4.135" bore one might be just what I need. Thanks Jason!

SCE Titan ICS gasket. I am running them. SCE-S11154LS is for the 4.155x.043

http://www.scegaskets.com/products/ics.html

As per SCE reps, due to the integral o-ring they need to be spaced back from the bore and combustion chamber edge about .010-.015 or more.
